Improving visibility to service updates in Office 365

A significant change Microsoft is making is in how they communicate updates and provide a forward-looking view of their service plans. They’ve learned a lot from the Yammer team on how customers expect communication in a fast-paced, services world, and got great feedback from customers at the SharePoint and MEC conferences on transparency for future investments in their business services.

Building on this, Microsoft decided to take the next step and communicate with customers in a new way, via a public roadmap, to make sure that as many people as possible know about the exciting improvements they’re bringing to the service.
